About Virginia

Virginia has been working with community groups,  charities and corporate responsibility  since 2001 and has more than twenty years experience of volunteering, from board membership to working outdoors with young people.

She is a skilled fundraiser with experience of senior management within some of Scotland’s most successful charities. With time spent as a grant maker too, Virginia can bring the funder’s perspective to your grant applications and project planning.

As Chair of Glasgow Fiddle Workshop, Virginia knows the challenges of working with a small organisation led by volunteers with no full time staff dedicated to raising funds.

Virginia is a member of the Institute of Fundraising and holds the Diploma in Fundraising Management (MInstF (Dip)). Being a member of the institute means she keeps up with best practice, is fully qualified and upholds professional standards in everything she does.

Based in Glasgow, Virginia works across Scotland and is particularly interested in working with small to medium sized organisations where small changes can make a big impact for the community you serve.
